ESPN has always done a good job covering the main event, so I’m not surprised with this contract extension. The funny thing is that there will probably be more entries in the WSOP Main Event than there will be watching the event on TV!

Like any debate, there are two sides to this one. Here is an article that talks about teenagers playing poker as a positive learning experience. I’ll tell you one thing; if my Mom knew I was playing online poker as a teenager, she would lose her mind.

BIG money in online BINGO

I’ve only been to a BINGO hall once in my life. When I was in high school we had to do some fundraising for the varsity basketball team, so each one of us on the team had to take a turn and volunteer at the local BINGO hall. I didn’t know what to expect. Hell, I didn’t even know how a BINGO hall worked. Well, for 5 hours I ran around selling BINGO cards to old ladies as they chain smoked and organized the various lucky charms on the table in front of them. After my shift was done and got an MRI to confirm that I didn’t have lung cancer, I swore that I would never go back to a BINGO hall again.

Well, it looks like if I want to enjoy a solid game of BINGO, I won’t have to go back to a BINGO hall. I can now enjoy the challenging and skillfull game in the comfort of my own home.

Lady Gaga – Poker Face vs KiD CuDi – Make Her Say

So I kept hearing about this Lady Gaga song called Poker Face when it first came out. I think it was getting a lot of radio play (probably still is), but I don’t listen to the radio much so I never bothered to check out what the hype was all about. Next, Wale drops his first single – ‘Chillin’ and it is featuring Lady Gaga on the hook. Good song and I’m a huge Wale fan. If you haven’t heard of Wale, you’re missing out. Thennn, KiD Cudi drops a single a single with none other then Kanye West and Common. Are you serious!? These three are my favorites. The song is called ‘Make Her Say (Poker Her Face)’ and it’s a spinoff of Lady Gaga’s original track. Now I’m a huge hip-hop head, so of course I like ‘Make Her Say (Poker Her Face)’ better, but what do you think? Which one do you like better?

You probably thought the words of this post title or something along the those lines when you saw Poker Grindin’ pop-up in Google or found the link on another site. There are so many websites about poker. Some are good. Most are not. Besides, who needs another poker website anyway. Most of the people who would check out a poker site are probably too busy playing a .25/.50 NL cash game at Poker Stars or Full Tilt. Well, I love poker. Especially online poker. There is not another game like it out there that has as many elements to it where the bottom line is – take your opponents money. What do I want to do with Poker Grindin’? Not sure. For now, I want to pass along any cool news that is stirring up the poker world. Share some great poker tools and strategies because I know everyone’s game could be a little better (especially mine!). Oh and most importantly, I want your thoughts about poker and have everyone contribute to this blog. Thanks for checking in and please do so again.
